Good to meet you on saturday - sounds like you had something of a nightmare trip back! As it happens it took me an hour longer to get home and I was only going to Scotland ... didn't even leave terra firma ...

The trip back wasn't really a nightmare - just very very very long....
Got a lift from Waterloo to Liverpool St
Bus 
to Stansted (1hr and a half)
Hang around Stansted (2-3 hrs)
Flight delayed (but only by 20 mins)
45 minute flight
Passport control, get shuttle bus to car park (another 1/2 hr)
Find car
2 hr drive home in the dark, in the rain, with many lorries, with my kids arguing over whether we will listen to Limp Biskit or Pink
.
So today I am absolutely knackered - can hardly keep my eyes open 
.
