I did not have any luck with my date, he was 3 years younger than me but he looked alot older than me. I had a promising answer to my telephone/paper advert but he did not call back, All the others came from a very long distance away, outside my area and one wanted an extremely extrovert women which I am not as in my advert I said I was quiet and a reserved person.

They usually crop up when you're least expecting it and they'll want you just the way you are - shyness I reckon is much better than over-confidence ... perhaps all it needs is the right person to come along and help you out of your shell ...

Well could this make up. I have stockings, suspenders, basque and those all in one lace things. I have problems putting on my sockings and suspenders on.

How is your spleen?

I am using a keyboard where what I type data it leaves letters out or it puts letters in which I have not pressed. I have a cursor that goes hypo or sticks at one point and will not move for at least 2 minutes. Then I when I want to go back to a point to correct a spelling the cursor goes hypo. I try and correct as much spelling as I can but as I am a webtv user which means I get this service through tv email. I am using a tv and as a result I am limited to the time I can be on h2g2. Please bear in mind that webtv usershave more problems than a PCer and we have to share his with an ordinary tv service I have to remind PC users of the problems encounted by digibox users. You must realise you are very lucky that you do not encounter the problems I have. I also have more problems due to the fact I live in a mult-storey flat which means I also get TV interferance and weak TV signals. If you go to the Friends of LD or ask Messrs Loup Dargent and Manda they will fill in with you more information about digibox users.

I also have the added problems of when I enter data that the data does not come on the screen and therefore I have to guess on what I have typed. Also this happens alot when I have to correct data the cursor disappears along what I have put down and I m only left with 1 or 2 words. I have to keep on going to preview until the cursor comes back on again, into view. Then because of the poor cursor control, I find myself stuck on read only therefore I have to back to categories, then to h2g2 and ten backto my space. I could be typing in the box and the cursor will end up out of it and then I have to go back into the box. Worst of all is if the cursor goes out of the box and either goes on back to conversation or rules and regulaions then I have to re-write the whole thing again. Then there is the flashing blue boxes which means I have
to unplug the digibox and re-boot the cable tv service. PC users do not have these problems.

The New Year was lonely as I was having a party for myself. It would have been alot funnier if the 8 Alan's Ayr was here, along with the following Aye Richard who's favourite word is numpty, Brian the basking shark who makes alot of sexist remarks, he is not a dog but he barks quite alot, does Brian the basking shark, Brian the basking shark, he also steals women's underwear, Richard Owen aka Dr David Owen who thinks a cart horse, sheep, camel and a giraffe are all related, The other Brian who has a quote for every day like mimalising, Hyperchrondia Moyra, Wee Alison with the packet of scones with a hole in it and my ex mad neighbour who bangs his head against the wall to releave the pain and you cannot tell the difference when he is drunk or when he is sober.
