Ekki We had at least 3 days of snow and the council there are still large parts where there is alot of ice and it is still ungritted ie like the council car park. How it is where you are?

Did you build your snowman?
It was 
with us until saturday and now it's just mild, grey and windy ... all the white stuff has disappeared and everything is back looking its wintery self ...
Christmas and the New Year feel like and age ago ...
all the same!

No I never go enough courage to stay in the cold long enough.

I've always found that doing stuff out in the snow makes you really hot be it building snow men or whatever ... spent most of saturday afternoon chainsawing up a tree. It was about -5C but I was only wearing a shirt ... having said that I tend to generate a massive amount of heat whatever happens!

Sadly the snow was so hard and frozen and I had problems staying up long, I had not been drinking

The worst thing is when it thaws a bit and then freezes again ... everyone ends up on their butts and there's no avoiding it ...
