Talking about adding, what about adding Pam Grier to the Birthday Girl's page?

Birthday(according to IMDB and W*k*) May 26th 1949.

I'm not able to get the links to the IMDB piccies, but #9, #14, or #26 for instance could be used.

I'll reserve judgement on the new Spock, although I'm truly delighted that Leonard Nimoy is also cast as "old Spock". I would love it if Dax* turned up and seduced Bones McCoysmiley - rofl

*Jadzia mentioned to Sisko in "Trials and Tribble-ations" that she'd had a fling with Bones - when she was the best bit about this is that they can cast any actress to play Emony Dax (please not Nicole de Boer). Emony was particularly enamoured by Bones' hands, smiley - drool I can just imagine.

That's what I *really* didn't like about Matt Smith, in his interview he used his hands a lot - and they were huge with knobbly, big knuckles. smiley - yuk

oh I thouht he had quite nice hands...

As for Dax - how brilliant would that be? Is the new Spok that Siler guy from Heroes? I can only think of him as evil because of that.

I don't watch Heroes, so I don't know. Did you watch the new "Demons" over the weekend? I watched the repeat on ITV2 last night - Philip Glenister as a demon hunter, it's a bit like "Angel"

Except for the complete absence of totty!

Yep no totty (although young Luke can take his shirt off again if he wants...)

Philip Glennister with an american accent? I don't like it - but generally the show was fun, and the Gruesomes liked it. It's no worse than Merlin so I suppose we'll stick with it.

Is it my imagination or does Philip Glenister look a bit like Ray Liotta?

I had an utterly Tudor Christmas - got through a batch of DVD's I'd ordered: "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth The Golden Age" Cate Blanchett really does pull it off well. "The Other Boleyn Girl" (Eric Bana is Henry VIII - brown eyes) and "The Tudors" Season One (Jonathan Rhys Meyers is Henry VIII - blue eyes)

In "Elizabeth" we also have Christopher Ecclestone as Norfolk, and Daniel Craig as John Ballard, a priest who acts as messenger to the Pope. Not to mention Joseph Fiennes as Dudley. I watched both films back to back twice - once with sound track and once with Shekhar Kapur's commentary - he has a lovely voice.

In "The Tudors" I particulary enjoyed http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000562/ Jeremy Northam as Thomas More, and http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0147147/mediaindex Henry Cavill as Charles Brandon. (OMG - he's younger than my oldest son)

Am now off to have a dekko at the new Dr Who. Give him a chance gels - he might develop into something worth watching.

According to IMDB there is a Matt Smith who was in the Order of the Phoenix - another ex-Harry Potter person as Dr Who? Do we see a pattern evolving here? Could Maggie Smith be the next Dr Who?

I've been to see "Australia" todaysmiley - wow
Put it on your "to see" list - Hugh Jackman AND Nicole Kidman. Plenty of bare flesh, (one) sex scene and quite a bit of kissing.

The film will make you cry though smiley - sadface

smiley - bigeyesNicole has had a boob-augmentation, unless they superimposed her head on Angelina Jolie's body.

smiley - envy
I can't believe Nicole gets paid millions to snog Hugh Jackman. I'd do it for nothing. Heck, I'd probably muck out the stables for a turnsmiley - kiss

this is a bit icky, but I took Gruesome #1 to see Twilight* last night. The make-up on him was truly awful - and he's about 20 so it's really icky, but I want to snog Robert Pattinson.
smiley - yikes

*it's rated 12 here - and as she's just turned 12 it was the first time I've taken her to a 12 film as a 12 year old, usually parents can decide so I've taken both gruesomes to a couple of 12 rated films over the years with no adverse effects
