Thanks. This is grim news indeed, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst, with a less-than 5% survival rate

You know you're getting old when things like this start happening to people you remember from childhood.
Does that make sense? I know what I mean!

Yea...I'm shocked to learn Carol Barnes (ex-newsreader) is 63 and very poorly
Did anyone see Gwen's wedding on BBC3 last night?

eloisa Posted Mar 6, 2008
Not yet. Thought I saw a Cap'n Jack kiss on the teasers at the end of the BBC2 one last night though.

I've officially given up on Torchwood.
And now Dancing on Ice has finished, no Fred and Matt's biceps to letch at.

I know what you mean, after such a promising start the standard has most definietly slipped on Torchwood

Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 16, 2008
well, it's come to choosing between that and the BBC thing about the tortured soles of comedy. So I'm taking that this week.
It's annoying - Torchwood could have been so good but it's completely flat.
Oh and have I mentioned that I'm beginning to get a bit of a crush on Gene Hunt

I've really been enjoying Ashes to Ashes and not just for the reminising either.
The Passion was good too, no drool factor (apart from James Nesbit dressed as a Roman) really but a bloody good production

unfortunately we had to watch the final of the ice skating
but afterwards I watched Lewis which I really really like.
And it isn't all to do with my strange crush on Sgt Hathaway!

Is that Mr Billie Piper? I have a preconception that all public school types are really filthy!

Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 17, 2008
Well, I went to private school... next best thing. (and yes, he is married to Billie Piper)
The character of Sgt Hathaway fascinates me. I mean... he was training to be a priest!! How much fun could you have with someone like that!
