My personal fave: Beck's. Precision German engineering in beer form. 
Grolsch is nice, but only in small doses- it's very 'syrupy'. Stella is good too.
In terms of I'm an Old Speckled Hen chap myself. Nice.

Stella can be pretty bad too sometimes.
Lagers generally taste all the same though (unless we're talking real German lagers). Hoegarden is nice. It's a weissbeer (white beer) I think. Might be a beer blonde, can't remember. Someone did explain it to me once. I wasn't pay much attention.
