they sound lovely if very strange! We were tempted by long hair but no one felt up to all the grooming!
I have to go write a depressing essay on The Tempest ... have a great evening!
Bye

Oooooh the Tempest God it's sad but I miss writing about Shakespeare and stuff in English
We don't groom them, they don't like it, luckily they don't get too tangled, they're very particular about their own grooming.
it's when they malt that's the problem!

tis okay, she was really old and it was just her time to go, I mean she was deaf and becoming blind and had really bad arthritis, so it was probably better she went them than...
she had a good innings at 14, and she was loved and had a good life don't

my cat ended up like that peter got bad so that sometimes he'd walk on the joint on his front paw because of his circulation

I kinda half wish my gran had gotten another dog after Carrie was put down (in 1997) but she was starting to considering moving and didn't want to be too tidied down.
She regrets it now but there's a cat that comes and kinda lives with her on and off.

I went through the whole UCAS thing last year and here I am at university. The most important thing to remember is not to get all worked up about the situation because it won't do you any favours. Take everything one step at a time and although it feels like you are signing your life away and it's very tense - the releif you'll feel when you have an offer will be just great!
Go for it girl!

Hello!
lurking round your journal, 'cos mine too features regularly on the front page busiest bit (nice isn't it!)
--noticed in this section someone shouting "I got STIRLING"
--my RL surname is Stirling, & I'm trying to trace my(deceased) dad's background. I know it's a Scottish name, but he was probably Irish, so if anyone fancies doing a bit of detective work it'd be VERY much appreciated!

What are you trying to find out about the name? Is it for a family tree or more where the name comes from?

Family tree (mine)
All my family are dead, as far as I know, makes it difficult to find out much, plus I live in France now!
But have found out that my dad was married before he met my mum so I might have half-brothers/sisters; which would be really !

where is your family from originally?

Well, this is what I'm trying to find out!!!
All I've got to go on is what I was told as a kid & a few photo's.
He definitely wasn't English, so must have been Scots or Irish, I was always told Irish, but Stirling is a very common name in Scotland, not so much in Ireland. There was obviously a lot of to-and-fro ing between the two though.
If you did get the chance, one thing that might get some sort of response would be a notice on the board at Uni; there must be more people there who know about the name Stirling than anywhere in the world!!

I don't go to university until the autumn.
I'm not sure how you could even start, not if you haven't any idea what your fathers previous wife was called etc.
