Hi Em, hope you are well. You might know about this already, but there is a meet planned for the 6th Sept in Aberdeen (trying to break out of the usual central belt rut). The page is at A1127116 if you're interested

YOu don't know how interested...however, it's still a bit far to travel, especially the first weekend after you've started at college.

If it wasn't that weekend I'd be tempted, but I don't even know what days my classes are going to be on, so I@ll have to decline.

YOu never know, next one down in Edinburgh I may be able to make as I've already got an open invitation from a friend who's going to study there to come and stay

Ah well, shame really. As far as I know there isn't anyone else from your neck of the woods driving there - I'd offer myself, but I'm taking as direct a route as possible, so the nearest I get to you is Perth, I think.

See if I could drive myself (I'm planning on Learning as soon as I get my license back) it would be easier as I could get there and back in a day, and I know the road as I used to live in Aberdeen.
