Thought I'd move this over here to avoid clogging up the "what are you listening to" thread. smiley - ok But I'm always happy to introduce new people to the TMBG phenomenon. Do you know any of their stuff already?

Yeah I was thinking of doing that too but I'm a lazy smiley - bleep tonightsmiley - winkeye

TMBG, yeah, I love Boss of Me but haven't really heard much else by them and I've been meaning to look for an album or two, thought seeing you're always listening to then in the other thread that you'd be the perfect person to ask for advise on itsmiley - smiley

smiley - ok Right, if you like Boss Of Me you should probably start with "Mink Car", which has the track on it (as long as you get the UK version, it's a long story...)

The problem with TMBG is that they have two distinct phases: the early years, when it was just two people and a drum machine, and the later years with a full band. The full band albums are "John Henry", "Factory Showroom", "Severe Tire Damage" (a live album), "Mink Car" and "No!" (er, an album of children's songs).

There is a Guide entry on TMBG, but I'm too lazy to find the link. smiley - tongueout

Well, how to explain Half Man Half Biscuit... cynical, satirical, silly. They have an album with the fantastic title "Trouble Over Bridgwater". smiley - laugh The Wedding Present... er, sort of jangly guitar pop, usually with lyrics of lost love. Marvellous, isn't it, you know. smiley - smiley
