As our resident GuideML freak, I'd like to ask for a little help, if you're willing
My entry A927173 on Near Earth Objects is one I'm thinking of submitting to peer review (I've had a message saying it could be a good idea), but there are a few things I'd like to neaten up first-
Firstly, and most simply I feel, I think it'd look better with a couple of pictures in it somewhere, maybe one at the top- know of any which would be relevent to the subject?
Secondly, in the section entitled The Torino Scale, I'd like the actual descriptions of all the zones to be in a table with correspondingly coloured backgrounds, or borders, to the cells. I wouldn't know how to do this (I know how to make a table, but the colours, if it's possible at all to change them, elude me). Looking something like the table on this page: http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/torino_scale.html , though more classy, obviously
Would be grateful for your help, thanks for the time

I'll do you a deal, I'll give you a great webpage for that stuff, if you do me a bit of a favour, a couple of paragraphs about the constellation Cassiopeia...have we a deal? I'll even format it if you can't work it out

Ah, I forgot about that, yeah, I could do that now. I don't know much about individual constellations, but I could research it. Do you have anything yet? What kind of info do you want?

O.k, I've made some notes, they're at A1077725.
Don't take them until I've made some sense out of them though, they're a bit physicsy and I need to look some stuff up to make sure it's up to date, and change it so someone who's not an astronomer will be able to understand it.

well the website I was working on for the technical bit (just in case you didn't want to help) gave me this info: A1077671, but like you said, to the layman (ie me) it doesn't make much sense.
gonna try and do the mythology part today, but I've got to go check whether some of my facts are right because part of the story doesn't make much sense. Will put your name and number on also today

Looks good so far- just one thing's niggling me: You've referred to Cassiopeia as a star- it's a Constellation. May seem picky, but to an astronomer that's a massive difference.

Thanks Tom, now my favour to you, would you like me to format it for you? If so give me until this even or maybe sometime on Saturday because tables and colours and stuff take ages, but I'll do it for you

Just the table, thanks. I think the rest is pretty much O.k (unless there are any improvement you think would be worthwhile )

O.k, take a look at A1077725 and tell me what you think so far.
There are a few things which definitely need more explanation, but would be too far off- topic to include, and too important just to miss out the references. So I think it would be a good idea to find which other relevant entries we can reference (i.e, find decent entries on magnitude, subgiants, diffuse nebula etc...), and if we can't find appropriate entries for certain bits, then that leaves the way open for us to write more entries
Hope you like, let me know if you want any changes or any more/ different info.

looks good to me, do you just want me to include it as it is?
And I'll do the table ASAP, the info's all there youw ant in it right? Do you just want the same colours?

TeaKay Posted Jun 13, 2003
If you're O.k with it as it is, then go ahead.
The table- take a look at the table at the link in the first post in this convo, and that's basically what I want- same colours and layout if possible, please.
