tah mate
I'm into punk if that helps when it comes to music but I love all sorts of music...I don't think I could label myself as a punk though, I'm just an individual...
"I am not a number" and all.
so how's you?

I'm applying for Duncan of Jordanstone as we speak!!! I'm wanting to do graphic design or maybe interior or even photography, I'd love to do photography But I'm also applying for Dundee College for the portfolio year, as currently my folio is a little on the slim side, especially in relation to analytical figure drawing
Anyhow I gotta run I'm meant to be working on my art project not pissing about on hootoo

i did a year at dundee college and im at Duncan of Jordanson now..analytical drawing is the hardest drawing you will do trust me!..the class was 6 weeks and it takes three just to do 1 drawing lmao and we needed 8!!!!! argh.
im also doing an animation course but i could only fit it in 3 nights a week. that sucks coz i love it might go and do that for my 3rd year
but theres so much to do i dont have time for my boyfriend urgh better go a nice looking gurl just walked past my house lmao

I've just never been interested in figure drawing, still lifes, lives, (?) I don't mind and seem to be able to do no bother, but peopel
Animation! that's what my little sister wants to do at uni
I don't really know what I want to do at uni, the resources at our school aren't brilliant an dthere's only so much you can do at home.
you've actually come along at the perfect time, I have literally just sent off my ucas form for application and I'm really freaked out by the whole process, I've actually got a review of my Advanced Higher art stuff on Friday with my art teacher and my guidance teacher, I am not looking forward to that at all. Least of all as I'm supposed to be pinning my friend into her costume.
It's all a very scary prospect.

cool im sure it will be fine!....ucas forms are soooooo conFUZZling. but it should be fine. i remember my reviews at school argh! my teacher hated me lmao...proberly coz i was a goth but she did say i was a good artist
life drawing lmao we have to draw this big ugly thin guy with his nipples peirced in the buff yeuch its minging but its funny though. this guy in my class stole his socks
gotta go do my dishes lol x

Yick...I know I'm going to hate life drawing, that's why I'm forcing myself into doing my expressive unit as a figurative piece, but hopefullly it'll be okay.
UCAS is terrifying as are reviews, I have to drag bloody masses of stuff up on friday and then have it all shot down, I know he's gonna complain about the lack of analytical drawing, I just haven't gotten round to that yet, but will do asap...I hate this high school attitude that everything must be done in the right order, research, investigation, development, finished piece...sometimes it's just gotta be investigation, research, development, final piece!

thats the magic of college/uni its all in your own time theres no teachers moaning and complaining as long as your doing the work the lecturers aint bothered....
god tell me about it i had to drag a bid portfolio folder like all over the town lmao....in the end i got 4 taxi's

what are the lectures like?
I tried using my proper portfolio with the handle but if anything it was just heavier and more difficult to carry around, so now I'm stuck with my skanky polly A2 folder that the school gave me and keep having to take everything out of it. I need a folder with a shoulder strap...and I'd put one on the one I've got, but I don't trust myself to do it properly.
Currently however I'm carrying around my big folder, a smaller folder and a bag full of material and sewing stuff, and with this wind going up the hill to school and then to the top of the art department is a nightmare!
And as for friday despite living 10 minutes from the high I'm gonna have to get a lift up and back with my sister so I don't have to fanny about with my art folder, bag of material, stage model, masks, and all my normal school stuff! Plus we go on exam leave as of Friday and there's no way I'm leaving all my stuff up in the art department to get vandalised (all our stuff keeps getting either nicked or drawn over, torn etc and it doesn't seem to matter how often we complain all the art teachers end up doing is locking us out of the 6th years art room)

the lecturers are cool...its so laid back and casual we made friends with them really quickly.
i remember my 5th year exam all my work got vandalised even though my teacher promised it would be fine i went in on the monday and my [and 4 others] work had been tore up and drawn over i went mad and started beating the 2nd years up lmao

Cool.
We've been ranting at the art departemnt and refusing to leave anything there, it's ridiculous really.
