hey Metaki, sub-editing's going well, sent back my first two a couple of days ago, it's still all a little scary and I keep having to get people too look over the changes I've made, I'm terrified that my grammar and spelling will let me down as I've never been brilliant at either.

It's lovely to actually have someone who's a sub-ed to come and welcome me and say hi, I mean other than Anna who's been great

Those "Leave a message" buttons are very tempting aren't they, the worst thing is usually trying to work out a subject line, instead of the hundreds of "Hi [insert name]" one we getalways gets confusing when you go through the back long looking for specific conversations

Spelling and grammer are really important, but on the flip side you learn a lot about both: there's so much stuff about the English language that I'd been doing "wrong" before I started subbing.

Alas, I'm not a sub-ed any more: I had to quit h2g2 a while back thanks to school () and have only just got back on. I still don't have the time to do subbing though , although when I get past my freshman year, I'll hopefully have some more free time... Anyway, Anna's a really great person: she is very supportive .
