I'm not, it's not like I've emailed saying man I really fancy the pants off you or anything, all I've done is say he's a great friend, he's a lovely guy and I miss having him around and I woudln't mind meeting up in the future...
we've been friends 3, 4 years now, it's not like it's gonna be *that* awkward

Em, don't take this the wrong way. Maybe he needs time/space to make up his mind? He moved away, you didn't exactly part on the best of terms, and you've been emailing him a fair bit. I'm just trying to work out what he might be feeling. Not easy, as I don't know the guy...
