Hello from Dublin
Hi there to anyone browsing in.
My name is Gavin Long, and I go by the nickname of Knightshifter for most things online. You probably don't want to know why but I'll tell you anyway. It's because I have worked on the night-shift at work for so long I am practically nocturnal, and also because one of my hobbies is Chess. Where you shift knights. Gettit? Oh, please yourselves.
Anyway I live in Dublin, Ireland. This is a sadly neglected place on h2g2, a situation I will have to rectify. After all, it's full of such weird and wonderful places. Not to mention just plain weird people.
I work in the computer industry, but don't worry I'm still fairly normal. And I won't be any more specific, 'cos then you'll know how lowly my job really is. Suffice to say, I do get my tea made for me, but I have to ask very nicely.
