Hi Annie - I am trying to find an old journal of yours where you told us you had just bought a new mattress. Might be relevant to my thread in Ask ("Woke up this morning").

You probably won't have time to think about this at the moment - but can you vaguely remember when you bought it? Then I might find the thread.

I am following your worries with your Mum and wish you both all the best. On going back through your journals, I noticed the one where you told us she paid for your new bathroom as a Christmas present. Maybe you can remember that when she is being particularly absent-minded and think of the days when she was more lucid, and remember her love for you.

Hi TC, I remember buying the mattress, I know it was online, and it was a catalogue but I'm buggered if I can remember the name of it I'll have to go through my journals like you did, as soon as I find it I'll give you the link.

I thought she had paid for my new bathroom as a Christmas present. I have since found out that £5K is going to be deducted from my inheritance as my brothers and sister didn't think it fair that I got so much money spent on me.



I'm on a one-track road at the moment, trying to keep Mum safe, warm and comfortable. Even in this baking heat she wants the central heating on and to be covered up with one of those snuggle blankets. I guess if I were only 42kg I'd want extra clothing on too. I know this won't last forever and when she's gone I will miss her and look forward to happier memories replacing the horror of her situation and complete dependence upon me. I smile ironically when she says that one day I'll have to face this, but I've had a family so they will help me. I hope I'm dead before my daughters have to change my pants.
