Gnomon - time to move on Posted Mar 29, 2010
Bohemond's hair was described as "yellowish" by Anna Comnena, historian and daughter of the Emperor Alexios. You could probably use this word instead of medium blond.

Instead of:
'Bohemond was the firstborn son of the King of Southern Italy, but his father had remarried, so he did not inherit the throne.'
say:
'Bohemond was the firstborn son of the King of Southern Italy, but on his father's death had lost the rule of the country to his younger half-brother, Roger.'

I think there is some word in the first entry which triggers the moderation - as soon as the moderators see the entry, they realise it is one they looked at before and they restore it.
This certainly happened with an entry I was editing, and the word turned out to be "Cole". Some moderator wanted to be alerted to every reference somebody called Cole, so he added it to the trigger list.
It could be something trivial like the combination of "Muslim" and "hated" in the same entry. It's not worth worrying about. Just wait a few minutes and the entry will be back.

Damascus army vs Damascan army
It can be either.

Damascan army does sound better when read aloud so I'll change that.
I'll continue with Antioch when it reappears

A63492375 is subbed
Antioch, as predicted, has reappeared I will try and sub it without updating until I reach the end, but can't promise

In one of Jodan's entries, I worked out what the phrase was that triggered the referral, and changed it to something else for the duration of the subbing, only changing it back at the end when I was ready to go. That was one about the Mafia.

A63492302 - Setting Out
You have approximately 18 inches (45.72 cm)
It makes no sense to give the figure approximately, and then give an exact figure in metric. You should say (45cm)

OK
I am done subbing and going to enter it into PR now, then I'll be having a break from hootoo stuff
Andrew breaks up for Easter on Thursday and I'm also having Liam fulltime for my daughter so my PC access is going to be bare minimal for at least the next 3 weeks. I will try to watch what's said in PR comments though, and it'll probably be first-thing in the mornings, before Andrew wakes and before I get Liam dropped off.
If there's anything to alter just let me know here and I'll post updates in the PR thread.
