Hi Babe.
There's not a lot to do. I included the bit about Quaoar as suggetsed in the PR thread:
For 72 years Pluto was the most distant object known to be a member of the Solar System. Then in 2002 Quaoar was discovered and was the most distant known object until, a year later, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) detected a Pluto-sized body named UB 3132 at a distance of 98 astronomical units, moving in an orbit even more eccentric than Pluto's.
I've disregarded the rest of the suggestions.

definitive definition- authoritative
would you mind if I exchanged definitive with authoritative? I Think it looks more elegant.

If that's fine with you, I'll copy and paste into your entry.

Thanks Bel, I really appreciate not having to worry about this, make your changes and post it back at your leisure (it's a weight off my shoulders getting the top of my "to-do" list for some years (since 2006) onto its way in the Guide!

I've reread it and think two mentions of 'most distant object' in two consecutive sentences is a bit clumsy, too, so I changed it to:
For 72 years Pluto was the most distant object known to be a member of the Solar System. Then in 2002 Quaoar was discovered and took this position until, a year later, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) detected a Pluto-sized body named UB 3132 at a distance of 98 astronomical units, moving in an orbit even more eccentric than Pluto's.
I hope it is clear which position is being talked about - what do you think?

Yes, it's clear because you say "this position" and that's a great change
Hopefully our plans for the weekend won't have to change now Gordon has got his car back, we're taking the students to Spurn Point (and great weather predicted) then back via Hull to visit the Wilberforce Museum (and maybe the transport one) finishing at The Deep. I never tire of going there
Then I'll finish off the day watching the Eurovision Song Contest in the online company of my hootoo friends (Gordon wouldn't dream of watching that, even with two European students for company)
Sometime over the weekend my daughter #2 will be coming over, she owes me 2 (Mothers Day and birthday) I am hoping she will visit on Sunday when I have a free day
I hope you have a lovely weekend too

That sounds like a lovely weekend you'll have.
And well deserved, too.
We'll go to an open air concert tonight. we'll go visit K's mum each day until she'll be admitted to hospital for yet another OP on Tuesday.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it
and even the weather looks promising
It's the first time I've seen them all since last weekend what with the disruptions this week. Only a couple of weeks before Mauro returns home, I'm going to miss that boy

We're having wonderful weather. We went to an open air concert last night, which was fab.
