h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've removed the Guide Editors from all of those. That name gets added by mistake, but I've never figured out why.

Oh? The Solo page still updates automatically.

It gets added when the new page is made, by the accepting Ed. The BBC used to do it as well, it's not a new feature since we moved.

What I'm saying is that it only gets added to some of the entries, and I haven't figured out why.

I understand that. It used to happen more often when we were with the BBC, involving articles accepted from PR by "h2g2 support" and then given out to the sub-ed by a different Editorial account, but I have no idea what's been happening since we left the BBC or how many Editorial accounts there are. It's only recently I noticed it was happening here, but I haven't been exactly prolific with ordinary subbing. I actually spotted it on an entry which had slipped through all the nets, F2130684?thread=8294340 and was edited, I noticed it while cross-linking.

Thanks, GB. We have only one Guide Editor account, which we use for all tasks which need "super-user" power. Our own accounts are curator accounts and can only do the same as your account.

Diana Wynne Jones was not Welsh, she was English. She lived in Bristol, which admittedly is almost Wales.

She died last year. Do we use past tense for deceased writers, or do they live in an eternal present?
