Got a job

phew that's a relief, start a new job on Monday Oct 1. Not sure about the internet access though, so time on h2g2 may or may not be limited 
.
Don't feel that over joyed though yet, perhaps it's because I'll still be working yet a lot of my collegues won't be, I'm sure I'll work it out though.

WTC

I could think of a suitable title for this entry, and it’s taken me a week to get to enter something about the WTC crash. I am reminded how small the world is as while we were watching the disaster happen on TV while at work, I suddenly remember that one of my work colleagues used to work in NY for Chase Manhattan. Unfortunately the following day the worst was confirmed, she’d lost three friends, she wouldn’t take a day off, how could you? That was one of the worst things about this for her, everybody was talking about it, it was on every TV and Radio station, no private grieving here.
I have nothing much more to say, I know more people die around the world every day, and still do, but for a few days death has been in our faces and its very humbling. Perhaps the world will change for the better after this, though I suspect not, I always was a cynic.

Gissa a job I can do that. Three interviews later and perhaps I shouldn't have been so cocky as to turn down the posiblity of a 2nd interview at my first interview, oh well. Mid October is now my final leaving date at my old job, and the days are very slowly ticking by, they are keeping me hanging on by the possiblitly of a new role here, which won't materialise, then maybe i'll get garden leave, that is being paid to stay at home.

Too bored to do a day 5, the count down at work is very tedious, can't get motivated to do much, except keep my role ticking over, still more time to surf
