Is there anything I ought to know of you, besides your teen age? Say, country or continent? (Time zone considerations and stuffs) I have two young friends that I first met her, 13'ish then, and still chatting off-line 4 years later. My PS pretty much says who I am, and has a link to a photo-site to prove that I am not entirely an ancient ogre. And that my grand-kids is the cutest ones on the planet.

well....my name is sami, though i prefer other nicknames, I live in texas with my mom(ex-rambling)my dad(sharkvampire), my brother(i.s.t) and our pets, three dogs and a cat...my time zone as you'd probably guess is the central time zone...I knew red dog...dragonfly, big bad wolf....lady scott, dancer, evil roy...lurcher...you know, lots of the old powerhouses here...um...but i met them through mom...um...well, you can see other stuff on my old accoutn, vulpix...anything else, rev?

Nope, the state gives the time zone, and knowing loads of folks that pre-date me by a bunch is fine by me. Just wanted to get a notion as to the who and when I might see you around.

As you may see from my PS, I am ancient and work for a living yet. During my work days, I don't let myself sign-in here, being far too distracting. And having a wife and a house, the home hours are busy enough that I don't chime in very much. But I'm always pleased to meet and make a new friend, from where-evers.

Oh, and please call me Nick. The "Rev" bit is a silly thing I aquired on-line, but does set me aside from the 47 other "Nick"s here.

Always a good start, what sort of stuff interests you?

I was basically a farm-kid, and so love farms, animals and nature. I found myself joining the military young and learned a trade in electronics, so I have been a techy- a very long time.

Oh, and since my wife is working for a couple more hours, our two house managers are demanding my attention.

*laughs* uh...I like to draw a little, LOVE music...I can design banners on the comp....I'm a bit of a gamer and will probably live on a farm with the way my soon-to-be roommates planning our pet rosterXD
mom and dad both lived on farms when they were growing up, moma's dad was in the airforce....um.....lesse...

I looked at the couple of pics you link to from your PS. Cool cat, and the blue whotsis looks like a very techie Spirograph sort of thing.

My knowings of music are playing the radio. My folks found that my oldest brother was great with an accordion, so many of us were forced to take lessons. I can still play the same tunes because my head and body remember the finger-movements. But I have no innate music ability. I bought a guitar, and taught myself some chords and tunes. But I can only play by rote memory. So disappointing, 'coz I'd love to be able to play something.

Nawwww, what I learned mostly is that how-ever much I like a tune, I can't play it by ear. "Feel" and play it, if you know what I mean. Just replicating the notes isn't much if you can't add your own feel and stuff.

But I can sing a really mean shower-tune ... if the house is empty.

You haven't heard my shower-stall reverberating to my rendition of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".

Cats cower in the basement, black squirrels run for the hills, and local skunks avoid us for days ...

There are local laws in place that prevent me singing at anyone under 25, and for no more than 30 seconds at a time. Quirky, but it is a small town, this one.

I grabbed an unknown Glad dish out of the freezer, and defrosted it. Left-over BBQ steak, with some onions and mushrooms. Oh, the hardships and travails life casts upon me ...

Ummmm, have I mentioned that this really old notebook that I have in the living room is a balck toy, black keys that are mostly worn off, and stuff like "sofa" and "soda" look quite a lot alike?

In the US, how many litters make a bottle? And hey, at least you have the good taste to sip the best'est soft drink. Root-beer !!! (2nd being Canada Dry ginger ale, of course)
