There's always my mother's approach to thigs like this. She's having a serious cleaning amd tidying spell at the moment, and she's solved the problem of dusting everything by selling most of her furniture.

No problems with my furniture, it's the *things* I am in trouble, those that can't fit *into* the furniture.

Ah. That's a completely different problem. Good luck...

I need more bookshelves, but I've run out of places to put bookshelves so it's all a bit annoying really.
If you get bigger closets, you'll end up with more things to put in the extra space. It just happens like that.

How very true. And even if I throw away things, the other stuff just spreads. No chance for an empty space...

more space doesn't solve your problems
less space does
once you own more than 7 items the itmes start to own you
(and now you will have to excuse me, i have to go drive some of my rolls royces's into the garage

I don't want less space! I want a tiny little corner without STUFF where I could hide myself from said STUFF (and kids and dogs, for that matter).

Migraines are nasty indeed I'm quite happy that the local lady with the needles (no bwahahaha I'm afraid, just acupuncture..) has helped to the stage where I can do without horse pills and can catch it building up with two normal aspirin-ish ones...
Glad to hear yours is gone and replaced by ordinary cleaning-up angst

Not really angst, more like asthma.
I don't have migraine that often, only couple times a year or so. Well, usually.

Yep. That's what it is. Plus extra house renovation angst. I have been dealing with that too much to my good taste.

I'm afraid the office of historical protection has ideas somewhat similar.

maybe i should start restoring and redecorating my own house before it becomes historical
i'll think about it over lunch & nap

With my house the only historical part here is the cellar. But the street is under protection.
