Talking to myself...

... is not the smartest thing to do. But then I assume that noone else is subscribed to my message centre either. If this posting pops up in your conversation list then there's two possibilities - either you need to know who's talking to me and then you probably have a reason for that, or it is some misunderstanding and you can use the following link for unsubscribing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/FSB55017?cmd=unsubscribeforum&page=normal&desc=Return+to+the+Guide+Entry&return=A446681

You know, unless I'm mistaken, subscribing to new conversations on a user page was the only way to stay tuned with your friends before the 'Add to Friends' function existed.
But then, I could just be having a moment
And then there was the time when all of the Italics were out of office for a couple of days and asked the ACEs to keep an eye on their user pages in case anyone would post a question, and if so, could the ACEs please reply?
Hmmm... are you absolutely sure that unsubscribing from your user page doesn't unsubscribe me from your journals as well?

Interesting question. That may be checked out. But then you had a valid reasons enough for being here.

Now I've checked Bumblebee's and Freedom's conversations. They don't have this thread. So it must be your ic eye on me.

I'll make an attempt to unsubscribe then - are you going to make a new journal posting any time soon so that I can check if it shows up?

Hati Posted Dec 10, 2006
You don't need to unsubscribe.
And a new journal entry in in progress. I want to write down what I need for resting.

wha'
i just signed on to your journals a few weeks ago. and a few other persons journals as well. i did it because i found out that quite a few people had signed up for my journals and popped up whenever i wrote a journal (which does not happen often, i might add )
later i realised that there are certain threads that one is supposed to regard as being "private". a concept quite strange for a journalist , but nevertheless i have unsubscribed from a few
after thorough lurking, of course

Well, it's a public website and I know it and also I lurk around a lot. But what I do find annoying is people intervening conversations in message centers without even understanding what has been discussed and that the matter may be somewhat personal. You know what I mean and you know whom I mean.
Oh, and it was not about journals, it was about message centers anyway.

well, more or less. as you know i gave up adjusting to upgrades and other modern stuff long ago. these days i have to take a course every time i get a new cellphone, which happens quite frequently. plus we change systems ever so often here at w*rk it makes me
next we'll skip w*ndows for m*cs and hopefully that's the last time i have to follow a change
just tell me to shut up whenever i rush in were s fear to tread

There are some people with privilege of never being told to shut up by me. Well, unless they really ask for it.
