Guide ML is the trick...
Actually it's possible to see how the pages are made. Every guide entry, also a U-page has the A-number too. My U-page is U127053 but it's A-number is A446681
You can find the number at my home page, in the section of my guide entries. Well, and if you replace that A there with TEST it'll show you how the page is written. So my U-page looks like http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/TEST446681 when I edit or write it. Umm, or http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/TEST446681 or even http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/TEST446681
Does it make any sense to you? I mean I am not so good at explaining things actually. My English is a bit stiff. smiley - winkeye

(I know, I'm too lazy to figure out A-numbers smiley - winkeye)

Lot of information, that's true. But then again - I am not good at finding out the important bits, that's why I usually just ask. smiley - smiley

Black area? Do you use Brunel skin?

Hati

You mean the place where your guide entries are listed?

I use Classic Goo skin myself, so there is no black are for me. smiley - winkeye Goo was the original skin for h2g2 and it really looks the best. smiley - winkeye

Smudger879n

To tell you the truth Ive forgotton what skin I am in, but there is a gray area about an inch wide in the top left of home page. In that section there is a sign saying MY GUIDE ENTRIESsmiley - okI hope that helps you!?smiley - cool
smiley - cheersSmudger.

Hati

Yeah, that's the place I meant.
As about skins - it can be seen in the http-address after /h2g2/ there is brunel or alabaster or classic. The other way is to press the button 'preferences', that's also the place where you can change the skin. smiley - winkeye
