Today it's the solstice. The days will turn longer again. The worst part is over again.

Oh, you're welcome...longer days, ah, finally! Just have to wait, though, it'll be gradual. But, they're not too, too far off!

Not all the winters have been so depressing. What's wrong with this one? Am I getting old?

Well, we're all getting 'old-er', Hati, but, it's not all that bad is it? It certainly beats the alternative!

The night is over now. The sun is shining.

Yes, a nice bright day, here, -17, but very clear & sunny.

Only -7C here. Just a bit windy... I am still not in Christmas mood.

Well, I am, kinda, but not like a few years ago...it helps a bit, passing on "Merry Christmas" 's, online, here. It even motivated me to set up my little 3 foot Christmas tree, just quickly, so, no lights. Just foil garland & some decorations.

I will decorate the place today, methinks.

That's good...I don't really have many decorations.

I have loads of decorations. Also I have my kids who are always ready to produce some more.

Like Santa's elves, hmmm .

Christmas is for children, isn't it?
If it was only me, I'd never decorate the house.

I didn't even set the tree up, last year. Just felt an 'impulse', or something, this year.

I have candles all around, I love sitting in the candle light.

Yes, it's a soft, natural light.

Yes.
And some candles are scented, sometimes I have candles made of bee wax... Candles are always different.

No sunshine today, as it seems, the sky is grey. Sun should rise in 20 minutes.

I haven't lit it, yet, but, I have a vanilla latte scented candle - scented wax, & it seems to have a layer of actual coffee beans at the bottom.

Sounds good. I bet it even smells good.
My favourite scent right now is cinnamon.
