So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Started conversation Jun 18, 2002
I hope it's not rude of me to pass through and say hello Name's kate, well, sorta. Not really. Nowhere near, actually. But regardless... Hi! (Pay no attention to the woman behind the keyboard)
Have a nice whatever-time-of-day-it-is-where-you-are.
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
OK now you understand that... if you offer me coffee... I will never leave? Just checking It's ... (squinting at the corner of my monitor... START o'clock.. Oh wait... wrong corner) 11:24 pm here.. You, my friend... are in the future. Yeeks.
Hee hee,
Kate

*thinks about being in future - doesn't work, mind is too far away, takes longer steps*
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
Oy mind if I bum one of those smokes, while I'm making myself comfortable here? Ah.... OK... brain is far too tired to try and triangulate your position based on your time... Somewhere over -> is what I am imagining This is good coffee, btw. Gevalia?
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
You won't mind then if I put my feet up on the table, kick back and make a general nuisance of myself... Oh and... what is it you're waiting for, anyway, if I may be so bold? Is it good? Should I wait too?
Aggravatingly,
Kate

*raises eyebrows
Why didn't you SAY so? Look at me, lounging about on the sofa like this and you're expecting company!! So very sorry... I'll go make myself a sandwich
Sheepishly,
Kate
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Hati Posted Jun 18, 2002
Oh, I have ages to wait, so don't panic!
OTOH if you are about sandwiches you could as well make one for me too.
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
Ah yes OK then... What kind of sandwich would you like? I do all kinds... Er.... where's the bread, then?
Searchingly,
Kate

Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
OK let me see here... I really am quite skilled at this - as I shall now demonstrate...
*toasts cheese
*mixes paprika into fine paste and cuts into slices
*grinds bread into fine powder
And then, like so, I place a piece of tomato on each slice of cheese... and on this, I place a slice of fine paprika... sprinkle with a bit of bread like so... voila - another masterpiece by me.
Cuisinely,
Kate

Life, in my part of the world, is divine. I am divinely happy which from me means... a whole heckuva lot. If I felt like following the link over there I could prolly figure out how to do the little loveblush emoticon but er... That means taking my hands off the keyboard. Love is grand, ain't it?
Yikes... I'm happy! That's huge... LOL - and in your part of the world?
Happily,
Kate
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Hati Posted Jun 18, 2002
I my part of world life is usually confusing. I am happy too, though I hate waiting, I am far too impatient for that.
*sips *
So sorry, pardon me, excuse me, coming through...
Kate Schechter (Back on the right side of the pond) Posted Jun 18, 2002
It's not life if it's not confusing... If I understood it, I'd be so bored with it... Which might explain why I never get bored with myself. And patience? PAH! I am the least patient person in the world. Which makes it extraordinarily insane that I fell in love with someone online... an ocean away... who's work takes him offline for weeks at a time. Argh. I am my own worst enemy Still managing to smile though.

Talkatively,
Kate
