I never think about phone bills, no more than 5 minutes. And I still hope to flag down the passing flying saucer.

Yes, I am still waiting. I have 23 days to wait now.
So I could say that things are just great.

Ah see I hadn't thought of that... if I time it just right I can be listening to Vogon poetry instead of the telco screaming at me about my phone bill, during both of which I'd be feigning complete understanding, nodding agreeably and saying "Erm, yes exactly right"

And 23 days... yikes! Although... I'm waiting till December... but still 23 days is a long time too!

Well, it was 24 yesterday, so it's getting better every day.

Is that optimism I smell? Oh my... that's contagious isn't it? Bother... I tried SO hard to avoid this very thing and now... yes, it's official. I am feeling optimistic. Ah well, I suppose there are worse things

I guess it could be called optimism. OTOH it could be illusions as well. You never know... At least not before it's too late.
But it feels fine.

Just the sort of thing that should never be too closely examined. If it feels good who cares why, I always say... Gotten into a few tight spots this way but ah well.

I am still sleepy (10 am) and I better go and and have some more sleep. A day off and kids in exile.

Er I'm waiting for my special someone to return to civilization. Literally. Would you believe there are still places out there that don't have Internet access? Or... electricity! The mind boggles... So... in 10 days now he should emerge, hopefully intact

10 days - I guess it feels like forever...

Wouldn't be so bad, I think, if I weren't just worried... Dangerous stuff ... although I have worked out a nifty little way to get confirmation of his continued... wellbeing... yes well being. So that helps And just think - when my 10 days are up, your wait will be nearly half over
