Hi, TO. Thanks for checking it out and for the compliments. Yes, I did the illustrations myself. I used pictures of skeletons and a skull as reference. I drew the pictures with pen and coloured pencils and then scanned them into the computer and did a bit of extra processing with a graphics program. These are my first attempts at this kind of "mixed media" and I hope that I'll get better at it as I go along, but so far it's been great fun. I am going to do loads of entries on animals on my userpage, and when I don't have a personal photograph I'll draw a picture. I want to include lots of extinct creatures because what we see today is only the tiniest conceivable cross section of life as it manifested itself over the last three and a half billion years; you need to know what went before to make sense of what exists now.
