Ooh, that sounded a bit gruff - it wasn't meant to be!

I'm starting to come out of my stew a little bit, so the answer to your question is a *maybe*.

I need to get back into things though. Perhaps I'll have a dig in PR tomorrow and see how I feel! smiley - biggrin

smiley - biggrin No worries, didn't pick up on any gruffness. I came back to reply after reading the threads and found your second post.

I understand what you're saying about the subbing, I have had some fabulous experiences and some not so smiley - erm but they got fixed in the end either way. With regard to scouts, just today there was a gap noted and I thought of a couple of people immediately. Didn't immediately think of you because you have sort of dropped off my radar - now I see why.

Will you think hard about it?

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor

I am also a sub-ed and I make a point of contacting the author and I won't return the entry to the Eds until we are agreed upon (any) changes. Each sub-ed is different, and the only way to deal with it is via EF, sometimes the Eds agree with the author, or they give their reasons why not. I am also an author and I've been relatively happy with the editorial process, but if there's one thing I have learned this year, it's: "If you can't beat 'em, JOIN 'em."

Believe me you will have a different outlook/perspective.

Have some of this while you're thinking hard...
