I hadn't expected everything to seem so completely unnatural after the Bad Show. It's good, of course, but I'm still adjusting...

...more than anything, to all the people who deign to speak to me all of a sudden. smiley - winkeye

So it's good that everything's unnatural? You try telling that to... um, the makers of things that have special claims about being "all natural".

I take it the Bad Show wasn't as bad as all that then?

Well the show was bad, but backstage wasn't, and as most of one's time during a long series of vignettes such as the Bad Show was is spent backstage, that about evened out performance nights.

But thanks for asking. smiley - winkeye

Ahh, so actually doing the show was fun but you wouldn't like to have been in the audience. Is that what you're trying to say? I'm sure that the show was better than you're making out though. smiley - smiley

Yeah, that.

I also don't think that the fun of performances (the backstage bit) was worth the agony of rehearsals.

The only reason things were any different is because during rehearsals, the only people in the theatre were those in each set of scenes. I don't have all that much fun with the few people in my set... but once everyone was there together, things were much better. Had it been that way, come to think of it, from the start, I mightn't have hated the show in general quite so much as I did.
