One can only pray, I suppose.
Life's short. Pray hard.

Nice horsie. You're out of kitchen paper, your dog is a big one, your preferred form of cooking is usage of a can-opener, your hat is awesome and your eyes remind me of Sir Cliff Richard.
Cool pic!

The paper towles are on the other side of the fridge, on a little table, I'm too lazy to replenish them. I have two dogs, they are twins and both fair sized, and those are coke cans, not food. The hat has it's own story and has been with me a long time. Who is Sir Cliff Richard?

Cliff Richard is a British pop musician; look him up on the Internet and see for yourself.
Coca cola?
As for the hat; there's plenty of space here for that long story...

The hat:
After losing my father in my teens to suiside and leaving the small town that had nothing but clostrophobia to offer me I met a friend who actualy understood how I felt about the world. Now, at the time I was 17 and seeking any semblance of an identity. He was amazing and we had an intensly close relationship immediatly. He was the strongest person I'd ever met, the kind of strength that you feel when they walk into the room. Our relationship was almost supernatural.
One time I got jumped in a parkinglot 2 blocks from his apartment and he just knew it. His girl friend said he just stood up from watching TV and told her that I was in trouble and ran out the door. I remember him coming in like an angel and helping me to my feet and bringing me home.
We went everywhere together, and he always wore this white fadora with a zebra striped hat band on it. So I found a black one that I wore all the time when we hung out. It was cheap and canvas but all a 17 year old boy can afford.
Valentines day 1990 he overdosed and died in my arms.
The last time I stood at his grave I was wearing that hat, a long tattered trench coat and left him with a yellow rose. Some how wearing the hat gave me the strength to keep going.
About 5 years later I was hitch hiking through Wisconsin and a semi went past me too fast, the hat was caught by the back draft and swept from my head and under the truck to be destroyed.
The next christmas I was in phillidelphia, I'd hitch hiked there to spend the holiday with a friend off the net who had said she had space for me but when I didn't want to sleep with her she kicked me out. With all the shelters full for the holidays I slept under a bridge and wandered the streets.
I had about $80 left in my pocket and just didn't know where I was going. Then at random I stepped into this hat shop to warm up, and there on the shelf was a black leather fadora for $56. I bought it and knew things would be alright. Stepped out to the high way xmas eve and started heading for home with my thumb out.
January of that year I saw my mother for the first time in three years and started rebuilding my life after being a lost wander for so long. I've kept the hat, it has become a part of my identity, I wear it most everywhere I go. It has grown beyond my dead friend but it is still very much a part of me and a symbol of who I am in so many ways.
And that is the story of my Fadora.

Wow...
I'll have to give this amazing and touching story some time to seep through my reality-infested brain. But that was a cool story if I ever heard one. I'm sorry about your friend, but happy to hear that you've managed.
I'll get back to you when I have absorbed this and come up with some frantically cool reply. Or sump'n...
Meanwhile, drop by on my site at http://www.h2g2.com/U86204 and see if you've got anything to add there.
