Amazing how the mind works at a subconscious level sometimes...

I was looking through some old videos last night and came across an episode of "A Bit of Fry & Laurie" that contained a "vox pop" with Stephen Fry dressed as a woman:

"Well," I said to him, "there's no point going off at it half-cocked. Mind you, in your case there's not much point in going off at it full-cokced."

I'm reasonably sure I've never used the phrase before, so these two events MUST be related. smiley - smiley
