plaid shirts are cool
i've chosen the nickname plaidman. why is that? for two good reasons!
first: yes i'm a man, a real man with all necessary chromosomes and DNA even the ones which enable me to barbecue. secound: most of the time i'm wearing plaid-shirts. someone told me this habit of mine would be uncool, nobody would wear them anymore except the uncool but i don't mind. since i wear them not in the usual d********d style like other fellows with thick glasses and hundreds of pens in their breast-pockets i do it the grungy way whithout stuffing them into my trousers. underneath i wear t-shirts so i can use my plaid-shirt as a jacket (or some kind of wired cape) which i usually don't button up. very stylish - that's for sure...
and there is a third reason: "dead men don't wear plaid". probably that's the most important one. as long as i wear plaid-shirts i haven't been dyed spontanously without recognizing. that makes me almost indestructable - i'm not a mortal man anymore.
so as a man, yes a stylish man, alive and kicking, with chromosomes and everything i feel like some kind of strange and misunderstood superhero. this impression goes along with humming the theme of "bat man" (the one from the tv-series during the sixties) "(low) dadadada dadadada (higher) dadadada dadadada (low again) dadadada dadadada (two times higher) dadadada (low) dadadada - PLAIDMAN!!!"
