Hi Folks,
first of all I would like to admit that I really like the idea of 'the Guide' in an earth version as it will be possibly the only travel and life guide on this planet that is not driven by commercial goals. Be honest, how many travel books do you know that tell you a place really sucks and is totally over priced and more importantly tells you about corners of this world that might be interesting for people that do not fall under the typical middle age, good earning, lying on the beach, refusing to eat local food tourist? Well I guess you get what I am getting at.
As this is an introduction, just a little bid about me. I was 'build' in Mai 1973 and am a so called chartering guy for a big German ship owner stuck in a little town (250.000 people) called Lübeck. The nice thing is that the town is close to the Baltic sea and that I am only living here since 1998 and it did not get too boring so far.
Soweit so gut, bis bald und danke......
Gunnar
