May I interrupt the kitteh stuff with a quick unrelated question? I keep reading all of the postings about the late, and obviously much loved, Oliver Postgate, and I've never seen any of his shows.
Well, I've got a gift voucher for an online shop that does R2 DVD, and that shop has DVDs with a few British kids programs I've always wanted to see- The Clangers, Bagpuss and the Wombles. I'm almost positive the Clangers would be money well spent, but I wonder if, since they're so short, I'd be better off trying to watch the Wombles online somewhere, somehow. No idea about Bagpuss.
Have you seen any Clangers, Bagpuss or Wombles? What do you think of them? Worth paying about £7 for a DVD?

You've got it bad, huh.
I wouldn't buy any of them if you can find an episode or two here or there online. They're fun, but if you weren't there when you were young, it won't matter so much. I don't think the Wombles were part of Postgate's oeuvre, that was someone else. But I do have fond memories of Bagpuss - the rest were a bit before my time. Look around on youtube and you'll get the idea, but don't fork out for it.

Okie doke. The ones I thought might be worth it- since I do have this gift card about to expire this month- would've been the Clangers.

They are a laugh. If I see a DVD around cheap I'll get it out to you.
Here's an episode

If I don't use this gift voucher by the 31st for these and decide on anything else, I'll let you know and will take you up on that very kind offer.
