What's it like living on that side of the Atlantic? I've never been to the USA. Well yet anyway.

That all depends on where you live, it could be very different or maybe not different at all, exept ofcourse the government...

Well George is unique.
I'm from Northern Ireland, so much of the USA is probably quite different to here. Think it'd take people a while to get used to my accent anyway.

Greetings from across the Atlantic!
NPY Posted Mar 22, 2005
To be honest, I was looking about and thought it'd be nice to meet new people. If you want me to get lost I will.

You mean you haven't got talking to any international researchers yet then? I've met ones from Canada, South Africa and Holland - and now you.
So I'm acting like you? Weird.

oh, so your calling me wierd, well ofcourse you are entitled to your opinion, i have met a few like at this place called 'the last one to post here wins' but i don't know where from, i'm also a christian so that sometimes limmites my popularity
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
NPY Posted Mar 25, 2005
No, I'm not calling you weird, though I have been called that myself.
You're a Christian too?!?!?!? Great!! The more the better!
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
Cowboy Horse Rider and seeker of knowledge Posted Mar 27, 2005
True very true, yes some have called me wierd but i figured that if they think i'm weird then i don't need to hang out with them any way so its not a big deal, if everybody laughs at me, then who cares, i don't(any more) So i'm guessing your a christian very nice very nice. I have desiged a make shift roster under the name 'Roster' to keep track off all us christians
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
NPY Posted Mar 27, 2005
Do you think there are many Christians on here? I've bumped into a couple, but not many.
For me "weird" can be ok, depending on what you mean by it. Like if you mean freak/loser etc, then you can get lost. But iof you mean unusual in a nice way, then that's ok. That make sense?

Cowboy Horse Rider and seeker of knowledge Posted Mar 28, 2005
No, no no no! of course not, i mean 'Unique' as in a nice way. Cause remember i think tha i'm weird too. I'm glad that you have joined the roster though the roster should bring out the christians.

Bring them out of hiding! Took me ages to be able to put anything on my space about it. Wasn't sure how it'd be taken. But then I figured - who cares?

Exactly i am editing mine
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
Cowboy Horse Rider and seeker of knowledge Posted Mar 30, 2005
I don't really care what people think about me but the warning about if say something you can get kicked off kinda dulled me down a little
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
NPY Posted Mar 31, 2005
OK, I think I missed that bit of warning. Hopefully nothing I've said will offend anyone.

Cowboy Horse Rider and seeker of knowledge Posted Mar 31, 2005
Thats what the wierd gray faces are on the right of a convo, its to alert the "internet police" that your basically doing something not right. But i don't really care, i havn't hada chance to realyl edit mine but i will get there
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
NPY Posted Apr 4, 2005
Yeah, think I get that.
Though, surely you're allowed to say "btw, I'm a Christian" or whatever in such a way that's just stating the fact without offending anyone?
Greetings from across the Atlantic!
Cowboy Horse Rider and seeker of knowledge Posted Apr 4, 2005
Well, i re-read it, and they are talking abouty profanity, and insulting people, not saying that you were a christian.
