Thank you for that information about BST. I shall remember it.

Unfortunately between my new PA as she wants to be cvalled, and myself I have lost my whole list of email addies of my h2g2 friends. I believe I sent you my telephone no. Could you phone me and plese reverse the charges. Then at least I can speak to about my computer problems. I really am in a pickle. It is quite extraordinary how I came on line again.

Your computer problems at the moment are not caused by you, but are caused by the BBC computers. There's no point in me talking to you, as we'll both just have to wait until the BBC fix the problem, which I'm sure they will do soon. It should be OK by tomorrow.

Since I have been very young I always wake up very early. Sometimes 2 in the morning. I am always at my most alert at that hour. !!!but I go to bed very early and only need about five hours sleep a night. Time is so precious - cannot spend it sleeping. !! Mind you I probably have a few naps in front of the TV. !!

Wait until you are my age!!As Dick said

"One is dead for a very long time. Why spend the time sleeping."!!

I also don't sleep a lot. I go to bed about 12:30 and get up at 6:30.

Hi Gnoman, However, my reward for a short sleep period is that I appear not to dream - so consequently have a very "restful" sleep.

I lead such a super life that I certainly cannot also have wonderful dreams as well. !

You'll find things have changed quite a bit here, as everybody is waiting for the announcement of who is taking over the site from the BBC. Whatever happens, you can always e-mail if you have any problems.

My wife and daughters are well. It was strongly suggested six months ago that my wife had a fatal lung condition, but it appears to have been a false alarm.

Eldest daughter is now studying Irish and Music in Trinity College, Ireland's most prestigious University, and has got a scholarship which entitles her to free fees, accommodation and food for the next five years.

Younger daughter is as grumpy as ever.
