Archangel Zax

Greetings, Salutations, and WELCOME!
Hello there! I see you've already started moving in... SO NEAT! I'm gonna have to keep an eye on your page, as i'm studying german now!!

Just popped in to bring you some brownies as a pagewarming present...

Let me introduce myself.
I'm St. Zax- one of the New Guardian Angels. I'm not an Official Greeter or anything like that (those are our ACEs.. assistant community editors.. one of them will be by soon.. they're really great- EVER so helpful!!), but I am on quite a bit and love to help out... hence the sainthood!

I'll just be over at my page doing some posting, so if you need anything.. help with coding, some fun links.. a brownie or a pint, c'mon over and visit! (just click on my name at the top of this message, and the link will take you right over, though i'm sure you already know that-you haven't wasted any time!)

Welcome again!

Hope to see you soon!

Saint Zax*
Patron Saint of The True Brownie(CotTB),
Drunken Indulgence(N.G.A.)Undead Weevils (CotTW), and Whatever (CoW)

Hi St.Zax,
thank u so much for the welcome and those brownies (and, er, can I have some fries with them?) smiley - winkeye Oh, hey, I just saw, u thought about that smiley - smiley
Well, helping u with German would me my pleasure, maybe I should start a bilingual page? But after my vacation in Cornwall.
And I will definitively drop by your page - and of course I'll bring some fries - anything you'd like to go with that?
And if u need hints and help for German or for travelling in Germany, drop me a line.
Hope to hear from you soon

LOL!
Oh, you will MOST definitely fit right in here!

I was out meeting some of the other new members of H2G2 last night, and i ran across Claus... Claus doesn't speak English well, but speaks both German and French... i was just wondering if you might swing by welcome (him?) and see if (he?) needs any help?

I know that's a bit to ask, but i got the feeling that you're generous that way! anyway, this is claus' home page:

http://www.h2g2.com/U123893

and i also wanted to tell you that even tho you're new, i have a feeling you'd be a great Saint... if think you'd like to become an Angel, come on by, and i'll second you!:-

Hi St.Zax,
well, I guess being a Saint would be wonderful, but before I start my internship at Saint's HQs I sill have some serious vacationing and relaxing to do. But as soon as the Continent has me back (and my job smiley - sadface ) I will drop by and maybe you can tell me more about what it's like being a Saint and what the "chores" are smiley - winkeye
Oh, and I contacted Claus, as you have probably seen, well, we'll see what comes from it.
You don't happen to have ketchup on you, do you?
So before I leave for the big fish n chips country (chips do pass as fries I believe) I say Cheers, Slainté and Prost.
I will check today and tomorrow again.
Have fun and those Brownies were really good smiley - smiley))))))

*handing over several slightly mooshed ketchup packages, trying in vain to brush the lint off first*

Wow! Thanks So much for taking care of that!

You'd do well as a Saint.. that's pretty much what we do.. go around meeting new people and offering to lend a hand if they need anything... that's really what the ACE's are here for, and a couple of our saints also happen to be ACEs.. the real difference is that there's a big obligation to being an ACE- a certain # of hours logged and stuff like that.. with the Saints, it's PURELY voluntary... in fact, the third saint we inducted hasn't been heard from since! smiley - smiley

*wondering vaguely if St. Jeltz might have gotten stuck somewhere trying to fly with those tiny little wings*

The long and short of it is that we have NO rules or requirements.. just whatever you feel like doing! (or you can just walk around with the nifty "Saint" moniker!)

This is the link to the Guardian Angel homepage.. you can also reach it from my page... smiley - smileysmiley - smiley

Hope you have a great trip! and thanks again!

(oh, and that idea about the bilingual page sounds GREAT... there are a TON of german speakers on here... especially since last night! (really have NO idea why there was such an influx last night!)

more like FLOCKING! in DROVES!

I'd say that if you DO decide to run with that idea, anyone with a 122000 number thru probably 125000 -- (no, not every one of those #s will be used, as the computers do tend to skip a couple here and there)
--will be mostly german speakers... these are the #s that have been filling up last night and tonight... just thought i'd make a note of it in case it'll come in handy later... oh, and if you do go for it, let me know, so i can post the link on my page and around Heaven, etc! smiley - smiley

LOL! Yes, knowing who's online is helpful... there is actually a code that you can insert in your homepage that will make a link for it. when you click the link, a little window pops up that shows you a constantly updating list of who's signed on.. the new people have a little white "*new today" written next to them.. pretty cool, huh?

here are a couple of handy links to handy links that you can check out when you get back... bookmark 'em if you like 'em..!

My Links Link:
http://www.h2g2.com/A305155
That one has the link to the GuideML clinic, for great bits of handy code!

Also, The Overwhelmingly Huge Guide to H2G2 Clubs:
http://www.h2g2.com/A270325

just a really cool one for seeing what kinds of groups are around here!

Speaking of which.. you could DEFINITELY be Saint Fries (an angel)... God's only making one Archangel for every 20 saints he gets... since i was the first saint, and have been bugging him for an Archhood from the beginning, and am HORRIBLY active helping out and being involved, he Arched me first...smiley - smiley hehehe.. i'm such a teacher's pet! we're growing REALLY fast, tho, so i'm sure there'll be more Arches FAST... you could very well be one of them! smiley - smiley

Howdy and back from my vacation, sigh, though I should write some about driving in Cornwall smiley - winkeye
Well, anyhow, ready to get some briefings, what I would have to do and should know to become an angel.
Sorry, this is just a short note, but heck, I guess I have to get to work here smiley - winkeye
Take care
