h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm popping in as one of the assistant community editors or <./>ACEs</.> here. I've got some reference points & tips that should help you feel a bit more at home here. First since you're new you should visit the 'I am new, what do I do now?' page@ A868098 , as well as the 'Welcome page'@ A53146 ...& you might wanna take the <./>dontpanictour</.> ...just in case!

It's a good idea to write some sort of introduction on your page - kinda let people know a bit about you. For some ideas, look@'spicing up your page' ( A690518 )...or I guess click on my underlined nickname to look@my PS or personal space. You'll notice I use alot of the many <./>smileys</.> - ,,, etc. If you hover your cursor over any of them, it'll show you what to type-no spaces-between the < > arrows. Or that smileys link'll take you to the whole categorized list! A couple other options for decorating, are the 'picture gallery'@ A693741 & 'the GuideML clinic'@ A187229 .

Like any large community we've got our own newspaper <./>thepost</.> as well as numerous Clubs & Societies - which you'll find (in categories again) listed@ A660340 . There's alot of neat ones (like my friend pheloxi's United Friends@ A703126 - sign up & be sure to ask him about all the games).

But uh, take your time checking all those links out, having a good look around & just settling in.
