I haven't worn a tie in ages.......I wear leather workboots during the day, and as little footwear as possible around home!!!!!
Sneakers are too binding!!!!!

When you walk you you have to dodge the spit on the floor and the gum!
It's horrible.

Hi
On the way home from school I see 18+ year old boys having a pee in a bush!
Its horrible
Do people do things like that in your area?
Have you ever nicked a trolley?
School
FairlyStrange Posted Aug 27, 2000
I work utility construction......(I set utility poles for the area telephone company)....the bush is most often the only place available to pee! We try to keep it private by going deep in the woods, though. It wouldn't look good to our customers if we were too obvious about it!
Nope....I've never nicked a trolly, but' believe it or not, the one I was dicussing WWAAYYYY back in the forums is still laying there. I'll give it a couple more months, and that babys' mine!!!

I'd love to say no, but I can't! I don't think any adult can!
As a very young man, I must say I did. I suppose I was about 10 or 12. It was silly stuff, but I considered it very important at the time......guess I'd have found out just HOW important had I been caught!

What things did you steel?
People in england seen to like steeling advertising boards from shops!
They will just take the plastic cover from them!
Have you ever been caught?
Where did you steel from?
Have you ever stolen things to look cool in front of a mate?

FairlyStrange Posted Aug 30, 2000
At that age the only good reason to steal was to look good in front of your mates!!!
This, you must remember, happened back in the '60's....
Our big stuff was "Matchbox" cars and plastic bugs. They were real popular at the time!
They were easy pickins' at the local "Elmore's"....it was a regional five and dime.

Hi
I feel dead cool!
I need new school shoes so my mom took me to get some from the shoe shop.
I tried them all on and I said that none of them fit me properly (evern though they did)
So my mom went to the sneaker depertment and picked up a pair of plain black sneakers!
She said are you allowed to wear sneakers?
I said "Yes of coarse you are!!!!"
So I ened up with a pair of black sneakers and that is all I have to go to school in as my schoes dont fit me!
What will the teachers say?
Well at least I will be cool!
Bye!

FairlyStrange Posted Aug 31, 2000
I don't understand the term "bug shop"....
He-he....say you'll be cool till the teachers say something about your sneakers!!!!
By the way...I noticed you changed your "nick" again! Interesting choice!

Three of my coolest mates had black sneakers on for a whole year and never got caught!
They evern went to the trouble of changing into white sneakers to play games in!
Did you do any cool things like that when you were yuonger?
I meanyt to say big / large shop not bug shop!

He-he!!!.....Don't worry, I'm here!
I remember doing stuff like that! My father wouldn't allow me to have long hair....he didn't want me to be a "hippie". My mom knew it was the style, so she slowly let my hair get longer.....as long as I kept it tucked behind my ears around my Dad.
Took him years to realise that every time I walked out of the house, I combed my hair down!!!LOL
Lord!!!! Did I ever think I was cool!
But sneaking the untucked shirts and the beads by the teachers was a constant challenge! At least they never paid attention to the ragged jeans and sandals!!!LOL
