I came by to offer you an explanation of my second posting in the Prince Harry thread. I wanted to assure you that nothing I said was in reaction to your comments. It just took me so long to compose and post that it came up after you had made a couple of postings I hadn't seen. I wouldn't want you to think anything I said there was in response to you.

That said I was glad to learn we agree on the leopard suit.


Now that I'm here I can't help but notice that you look like you might be a new recruit to h2g2. But I've been fooled before by people who keep creating new identities. Either way, welcome, and I hope you'll enjoy h2g2. If I can ever be of any help in getting your bearings or explaining any deep dark onsite mysteries please let me know.

Hey, at least now you know that conversations don't always flow in a continous line and you should never assume that any posting following one of yours is necessarily a reply to yours. Or that any posting is necessarily a reply to the one proceeding it.

This is my third space on hootoo. Sorry.
The second I created because I wished to use it specifically for debate with a certain Justin. But I had a change of heart and decided not get involved with such debates at all.
The first, I recently felt I had to leave for reasons I'll not bore you with.
And now I'm here on this space, with a new name... But I think some people with whom I wish to avoid contact or being "lurked" by may already have cottoned on to the new identity... So I may move again, or have to find somewhere else to spend my free time.

Hello Eon if you do leave, which is neither here nor there lots of people "leave" but dont go anywhere, can you tell us who you werepreviously?

The secret is quite intiguing. I like a good mystery.

Also can I ask why you feel the need to avoid people in such ways? Ive been "stalked" and "harrassed", even had a death threat issued against me once before by people it will be easy to find out the names of if you are interested to have a little nose around my PS.

Ive seen people do what you're suggesting and have already done and i cant quite understand why?

Maybe Im more thick skinned than most, maybe Im just thick, but I just dont get it.

Its like people who wont answer their mobile if the caller's ID is hidden. if you dont want to talk to the person just answer it and hang up if you dont like the conversation/caller I always thought.

I've really not hidden it well so it wouldn't really take much to work it out.

I've had some minor level stalking and harassing here. That made me think of moving space... but I never did. Didn't see why I should move because of others.

I don't wish to get into the specifics of why I moved. It was a combination of several factors. I am still on site and remain in contact with those who I don't feel have betrayed a trust or have failed to see past their own prejudices about who/what I am.

Ive neer wanted anyone hounded oout or taken off site because I disagree with them, i sort og like a bit og an imtellectual tussel.

Glad your getting onwith what you want to do.

It was ashane what happened over digi box users and some other people we have lost because of majopr falling outs.

Ah. Well.
Typos, spelling or grammar errors are things everyone will make from time to time. Also we all have our own idiolects. But the former LDers used “txt spk” and “l33t”and “kRaZZee” typing. Which is something different in my own opinion. They also wanted to create the own somewhat isolated community here with it's own agenda, quite apart from what hootoo is about.
I do think it was unfortunate though that they were kinda "grassed up" to TeleWest or whoever it was. There were still quite a few that were very enthusiastic about the site.
