Hi there!
In the time I've been on h2g2, a lot of new people have signed up and joined the volunteer schemes. There was a time when I knew everyone by name, but that's impossible as this grand experiment continues to thrive. So I've decided to pay a visit to each Researcher in the various volunteer schemes and say 'hello'.
Hello!
As you've only just joined the Subeditor scheme in October, I don't feel quite so horrible at not stopping by before now!

Very kind of you to drop in - like to have a drink? Aquavit perhaps?
Just went over to some of your pages; seems to be that I read a lot of your articles without knowing it... Oddly enough, I liked very much your article on Lucy the Elephant, don't know why. As for my own attempts, I have one entry approved under the old system and one waiting (and waiting) in Peer Review. Some more will surely follow.
I picked up h2g2 and very recently being a SubEd to polish up my English, as I'm no native speaker (I'm German). Hopefully that's not too obvious.
Best wishes

Lucy was an attempt to put something into the categorization system for New Jersey. Did you follow those links and see how ugly she is?
I'm hoping the art team does her justice.
btw: Which entry is waiting in Peer Review? I like the Aquavit entry very much, if it was that one, I must have missed it on the page.
Cheers!

You're right, it's the Aquavit entry. I put it in PR in August and got right away some positive reactions on it, which even led to some corrections and enhancements. See http://www.h2g2.com/F48874?thread=69538. So far, that was a pleasant experience.
