hi there
-
a lot of research, sweat and blood went into getting it towards the edited.im only on a digibox, so after a time it got that some had to be done in the library on the pc. i wrote the guide, but credit to go for the main editing to rev nick.he stuck with me all the way.
-
something you might lookinto adding, as the guide is mainly buildings,
-
neo-mannerist palazzo,
-
found ediebarnes was the man its down to.you might want to consider this as a link, for people to understand the term as its also in the little germany area, on most buildings.
-
http://www.erniebarnes.com/aboutthework.html
-
http://canesso.com
-
one might do as a link to the section.
-
after the guide was sent on, i noticed a mistake i made.
-
the restuarant city,is city3.
-
in the section on the hilton hotel.unless you have seen anything thats it for me.
-
all info in the guide as been researched upto the present day.
-
in time the old police station at the tyrls will be something else, its been sold i was told, but nothing about what it will be, the old fire station, near the new police station will at some time be something else i would imagine. but for now its the guide, cross the other two bridges when i reach them lol jim(if any spelling mistakes in the message) its the spupid k/board,that my excuse lol

Hi Jim, I've added Nick as a researcher and fixed the city 3 restaurant. I'd rather not add the link to Ernie Barnes, as he hasn't got to do anything with Bradford at all, and the term 'neo-mannerism' isn't explained either. But I'll see if I could find a better link...

hi
-
i,ll go with what you say,as i said i can write, but grammar, yuck, ive a few guides, but only one as been edited for me the ew277. but not peer review standard i was told.
-
once i got the i and me out of the way, lol, it took shape and rev brought it to light.
-
i do research for locals, on the ww2 and family, so i decied to use the same idea, to research the buildings in the town centre.
-
you do what you think is wanted now,sub editer i take it will have the last word in the end, jim

hi there
-
i called at the library yesterday to do some research on a ww2 im doing.and the lady thats helped with the info as just got back of holiday. she found a peice on the workings of the press hall to make it easire to print and get the paper rolls in the premises.
-
your choice if you think it should be added,
---------
the new extention, basically splits into two,and this is reflected in the differing contruction uused.the light and airy glass box of the two stoery press hall,to hall ings, and concrete clad despatch and publishing section to drake street.
the building cleverly change in level of drake street heavy newsprint to be delivered at the lower ground level and be fed upwards through the presses to be printed and folded.discharging into the roof space via conveyor to decend to the despatch area to be speedily packaged and delivered to the waiting vans at the higher ground level of drake street.
------------
as the lady only gave me the section yesterday, if you decide to leave it till after the edited, it can be added later. jim

I have just looked at the "returned" copy, and like the bullets. I don't know much GuideML, or might have used them as well. A couple of tidbits that you may wish to address to the Eds though ...
Under 'The Alhambra', 2nd para, beautiful is mispelled. Missing the 'u'.
And you have added 2 links, to what I do not know. They both bring a reader to today's front page.
Just things to pass along. Nicely done, SchreK.

Hi Nick, thanks for your message - I'll alert the Eds about this. Could you tell me which of the links do not work? I don't recall to have added links...

The first paragraph of "The Police Station (Trafalgar)", the design codes ... look very odd ...

Indeed - that was introduced after I returned it. I'll see what I can do ...

dont know if your about or not if you are you are the one that didnt the 2007 bradford buildings one for me imcracker7
if you are the added links to some parts of the areas are way out of date as the h2 i was told went backwards three years at least
its still part active and was given approval to be on the google when anything about bradford or buildings are searched for
