Hell's Bells

Hello, I'm Helen.
Although I sometimes live in the south of England in a little town called Bournemouth, I am also at university in Carmarthen in Wales.
Yes, who'd've thunk it, I'm an 'immature' student at Trinity College (nothing to do with Oxbridge) studying BA Theatre Design and Production. The course is quite mad. You learn (eventually) set design, construction and painting; costume design and construction; prop making; stage management; lighting; sound and even do a bit of performance. I have just finished my first year, and it was great fun, but LOADS of hard work.
I spent 10 months travelling Australia ON MY OWN, and I thoroughly recommend it - I had a fab time.
I love reading: Douglas Adams (of course) but also modern classics. At the moment particularly Kingsley Amis because of his ability to describe the great irrational hatred you can feel for people you've never met (that year working in retail...) Has anyone got any more classics that are a must read??
I have a lovely Wallace and Gromit backpack called Shawn. He has his own little hat and scarf, and even a fleece. I'm working on the summer outfit at the moment. Feeling broody? Get a Shawn backpack and buy it booties!!
That's me in a nutshell. No this is me in a nutshell: Help, I'm trapped in this bloody great nutshell etc etc

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
