Oh, okay. That would be pretty darn irritating.

I've been on the 'puter until that late recently. A new record, the last one being around 3:30 the time when my brother was borrowing a Super NES from a friend, it was summer, and we really wanted to beat Donkey Kong Country before giving it back. We succeeded. (I still remember how much I hate that one "Tanked Up Trouble" level, where you have to keep getting fuel barrels before the moving platform you're on runs out of gas and plummets...grrrr.)

My dresser isn't actually in existence, as I store most of my clothes in two big drawers in some wall furniture I have, but everything on the little chest of drawers next to my bed has its own place.

I believe it would be morning. How many hours of sleep did you get?

What was that...saturday? Friday morn.? I slept for roundabout 14 hours, and it was great. smiley - smiley
I never really got to into Donkey Kong. Lately I've been playing Alundra on Playstation. Great game. Story not too annoying, foes nicely killable, and the best puzzles I've hit in a long time. It's got my brain good. I spent six hours playing it on yesterday.

Never heard of Alundra, but I would suggest that you play Final Fantasy 7. It's graphics might not be cutting-edge any more, but the puzzles are good, the enemies are not too bad, and the story is the most incredibly complex (in a good way) that I've ever seen. I've blown hours and hours and hours on it.
Ever played the Crash Bandicoot series? One time I beat Crash 2 in only one day. (Didn't have to stay up late, either.) Another time I beat the first one in 2 days. It would take me quite a while to beat #3 again, that I'm sure of.

14 HOURS OF SLEEP!?! I so envy you. smiley - smiley

I'm planning to try for 16 hours of sleep on the 4th of July weekend. smiley - smiley

I never got into Crash Bandicoot, but I did play some Sonic the Hedgehog. I've got friends who rave about Final Fantasy 7, but every time I try to play, they take over. If I owned it, I'd probably do better.

I don't really care about graphics. I play old school Nintendo (A.K.A. no-friend-o)and Atari games all the time. I got Blaster Master for Nintendo. (for $3!) Talk about cheezy graphics. But playing it was so fun. smiley - smiley And there's nothing quite like Frogger.

I like Age of Empires II and Warcraft2 for the PC as well. There are about a thousand different stratigies you can use to conquer. Warcraft is older, but it had ogres and death knights, so I like it.

Oh, and...

I will keep my vats of hazardous chemicals covered when not in use. And I will not build walkways above them.

(i've been there too)

Sonic is nice. Every so often my brother or I will hook up his old Genesis and beat Sonic 3 (with Sonic & Knuckles attached, and the whole thing plugged into a Game Genie, so there are three cartriges in a tower) just for the fun of it. There's nothing quite like Hyper-Sonic (all 7 of the bigger Chaos Emeralds obtained) at full speed.

It's surprising how quickly my brother's game machine collection has grown! He got the Playstation last year for his birthday, then the Genesis, an older PowerPC macintosh, and most recently an N64. Of course, I can just mooch off it. smiley - bigeyes

Back when I was able to access a Nintendo, I liked Duck Hunt. Shooting things! Yeah! smiley - smiley

Don't you wish that you could shoot the dog? Especially when he laughs at you for missing the ducks?

There's quite a collection of videogame systems at my place too. Let's see...
Nofriendo, Playstation, Nofriendo64, and Sega Genisis. Dreamcast comes to visit with a freind every so often, and of course the PC.

Sometimes it's hard to leave the house...

My, yes, the dog is very annoying. (Just sit really close to the TV! No more miss! smiley - smiley)

I think that if I had an infinite supply of food I would be quite happy to stay in the house for the rest of my sorry little life. (Hey, I'd interact with people - that's what e-mail and most of h2g2 is for!)

I didn't mention the emulated Game Boy. I downloaded no$GMB, an incredibly fully-featured emulator for the PC, once and used it to beat Pokemon Red & Blue, partly to be able to say that I'd done it, partly for the ability to comprehend all the little pokemaniacs out there, and partly for the fun value. (For some reason, killing a level 50 Gengar in one big-ol' stinkin' hit is highly exhiliarating.) If I could just find the ROM image for it, I could play Wario Land and such...

Looks like we had a simulpost a little bit ago...

Yeah...
I've got the pop-up user window, but never remember to actually use it. Kinda makes it pointless.

E-mail isn't really interacting. It's more like accrlerated letter writing. Everything gets considered before it gets posted, so you have no idea what the persons real reaction is. Plus there's the lack of simultanious (spell?) happenings. I mean, no-one ever says "Hey! The automated flamethrowers in the neighbors yard just went off! Let's go look!" while E-mailing. That sort of thing only happens when people are actually physically present. I think a lot gets lost in transit.
Not that I have anything against E-mail! Nope. Just think that people are social animals and need other people around.
