Dear FC 
Could I have my Christmas present a little early this year?
I am supposed to be flying away to paradise on Wednesday...but the weather seems to be playing havoc with travel and plane flights at the moment! Could you arrange that all roads to Luton are usable...and that the 06.40am flight from there takes off!
Oh....and please note my new address for over the holiday season

dear santa,
i would like to second Shazzs' request as she really really NEEDS to be on that plane
once she is there you can let the weather do anything you want but please just hold it back long enough for that plane to take off and land

Thanks everybody I feel honoured to have so many good friends here in h2g2 I am absolutely sure that the weather will behave now.....and may you (especially Ginger) all have your wishes granted as well
