Possibly the Most Interesting Site You'll Visit Today
Welcome traveller to a place much bigger than the inside of a matchbox, much more exciting than the memoirs of a Maths tutor and far more electronic than the counting system of ancient Rome.
For several weeks now I have been delving around the Hitch hikers site. Many people consider this place home, but you know, for a Hitch Hiker nowhere is called home. They have many other words in their vocabulary though: Service Station, Overpass, Layby 25. And in a way all these places are home. Remember:An overpass is a place to spit on those convertable drivers who never offer you a lift and after three days on the open road, standing in a puddle; any kind of sandwich tastes good.
This site may one day become a haven for Hitch hikers everywhere, providing they have portable computers and internet access. My over optimism may be misplaced (actually I'm sure it is) I know more than one site that has become a shrine to the people that lived there like the Beatle's house in Liverpool. OK so I am completely obscure and have no pending record deals on the way (that I am aware of) It would be nice if you could visit from time to time. If this wasn't quite as electronic my good nature would ensure the provision of light refreshments and if you sit with some biscuits in this site it will be like a women's guild coffee morning.
Oh if you came to this site expecting to find out more out me, sorry, I'm afraid I wish to keep my obscurity and work through my pseudonym Infinite Traveller(not quite infinite but getting close)

Why not scroll down to my Guide Entries. It may be small now but by the time I'm finished I hope to have fully mis-covered every subject that is related to this tiny planet of ours (Shouldn't take to long)
