Internet relationships are bad
I've had a very good, very close friend for over a year, and just today (9 October 2000) he told me that everything [nice] he's ever said to me was a lie to make him feel better.
He's lead me on for over a year just to boost his ego, and make himself feel special.
So, I beg of you, don't make the same mistake I did. You may think you know someone like the back of your hand because you trust them, but you really don't know any more than they decide to tell you.
Please, don't let the same thing happen to you. It's not a happy feeling..... :-(
