The lovely thing about SKY T.V., especially Digital Sky, is that it takes a healthy quarter of an hour to determine that there's nothing worth watching on the box. But you can always flick between VH1, VH1 Classic, MTV and MTV2 to find a decent piece of music...if you're particularly masochistic you can try KISS as well.

Absolutely.
My favourite channel is Prime TV - it's an Indian channel which inevitably shows old scratchy black and white badly acted Indian films with utterly appalling quality sound. And, for a bit of contrast, has an incredibly bright yellow logo in the corner of the screen.

I agree with your appraisal of the Bollywood industry, but you can never get too much Bhangra. It's worth it just for the bit where the seminaked hero bursts into the evil guy's palace, and they all start singing and rhythmically bobbing their shoulders.
