Something about myself
Hmm... Well, I suppose by way of an introduction I will say this:
"Hi."
This is to be followed with:
"Call me Vinegar Tom. It's not my real name but 'real' is such a troublesome term it's probably best just to take things at face value anyway."
Because I'm the sort of person who irritates others in conversation by attempting to qualify everything I've said to avoid ambiguity or just to expand upon an idea:
"Except taking things at face value is exactly what I don't do, even if it is best. I like to think of myself as a skeptic (and I'm irritatingly choosing to use what's now considered the 'incorrect' spelling of that word, simply because it's more like the original greek than the anglicised version) but even that is an issue because liking to think of myself is probably the source of most of my consternation."
See? It's awful, really. Who knows where it all might lead?
No really, who knows? I'd like to meet them.
