I love resident evil. I'm in the middle of the game for DS, it's called deadly silence. The plot is, the STARS Alfa Team (cops) are looking for evidence on a series of misteries. People have been attacked by zombies. They end up finding a helecopter with the rest of the team, they are dead.
This big warewolf try's to attack them, they run into a mansion, "where they thought it was safe" (quote from the game) they loose one of their fellow companions (there was 5). They decide to split up. Jill finds the first zombie in the house. Then every body dissapears. You are playing as Jill. Barry ends up dieing. Wesker, don't know what happened to him.
You end up going home with Chris. You two are the only two left.
Here is a list of the monsters you come across:
Zombies
killer dogs
gorillas with no skin
screeching things
snakes
massive snakes
spiders
terantulas
and others but my memory is realy bad!!
Hope you find this interesting!!

Trig, for me, back in the days before the internet, I found "The Gray Fairy Book" chilling. Then I got on to "The Mabinogian", which gives one a very different perspective on Arthurian England than one gets with Sir Walter Scott or any of the authors since. The fleeting and illusory triumph of Maxentius Maximus, the Dark Days of Uther's times, The last afterglow of ancient Britain in Arthur's times, Modred's self destructive betrayal, the beginning of the Anglo-Saxon ascendancy.... Utterly chilling.
Emo, Zombies through tarantulas... Sounds like a day in the 'hood. We've got all that except gorillas without skins in my neighborhood, and Desert Raiders besides.
It reminds me of a commercial advertising a show on dinosaurs on the Science Channel... ..."and you thought your neighborhood was rough...". If a T - Rex were to turn up in my neighborhood, I very much doubt it would last ninety minutes.
"Then every body disappears".... Do you mean like in the TV show "First Wave."
Have you ever read any of Michael Morrcock's books?

Correction on my spelling "Michael Morrcock should have been: "Michael Moorcock". Sorry about that.
I saw a couple of the "Resident Evil" films on the sci fi channel Thursday the 8th.
